Creating An Animated 3D Actor Symbol ("Sprite")

Step 4, The Job Chart - Modules - Splitter(1 of 2)

  • There is one important thing left on the "Modules" bar: The "Splitter" functionality
  • The splitters allow you to channel different parts of a sprite into separate files. For example the shadow can be rendered separately from the body or the head without a body.
  • Click on "Modules/Splitter"
  • Grab the green "Head-Body Splitter" and drag it onto the blue job window
  • It will be connected to the green plug at the job window
  • The yellow plug of the SWF Writer will be connected automatically to the yellow "Head" plug of the "Head-Body Splitter" module
  • In this case only the head would be created for the output
